Recently, the 2nd Jiangsu-Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan University Exchange Camp opened in Nanjing. Nearly 80 Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students from universities in Nanjing participated in the opening ceremony as representatives of all campers.
According to Wang Chengbin, Deputy Director General of the Provincial Department of Education, Jiangsu, with its profound culture and history, provides a favorable living and working environment. It is an ideal place for young people from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to study and start their own businesses. Currently, 2,040 students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are studying at 25 universities in Jiangsu. This year, the exchange camp will run through the whole year in four batches. The first batch of activities will be held in Nanjing and Suzhou from May 27 to 29. More than 80 Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students from Southeast University, Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other universities will visit the Memorial Hall for the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders, Soochow University College of Nano Science and Technology (CNST), Suzhou Industrial Park Planning Exhibition Hall, Kunshan Kunqu Opera Theater, Suzhou Humble Administrator’s Garden and other places and enhance their understanding of Jiangsu’s culture, economic and social development through lectures, visits to universities and enterprises, and other activities.
