Culture and Tourism Consumption Season kicks off in Zhejiang

Recently, the 2021 Jiaxing Red Boat Cultural Tourism Festival and the Zhejiang Culture and Tourism Consumption Season kicked off in Jiaxing.

The theme of the Culture and Tourism Consumption Season is “Colorful Consumption, Better Life”. Starting from May this year, led by Hangzhou, Ningbo and Wenzhou, the 3 national demonstration pilot cities for culture and tourism consumption, and 23 provincial-level culture and tourism consumption pilot cities, Zhejiang will launch five series of colorful culture and tourism activities, including the Red Activities: Pursuing Dreams in the New Era, the Green Activities: Enjoying the New Rural Tourism, the Orange Activities: Following the New Trend, Blue Activities: Enjoying the New Cloud Experience, and Golden Activities: Enjoying the New Life.

At the ceremony, the 2021 Zhejiang Red Tourism Lines and the favorable policies for the tourists and enterprises were released, involving discounts on scenic spots, discounts on cultural tourism products, and discounts on hotels and homestays. In addition, many places in the province will also continue to offer culture and tourism benefits and consumer vouchers to the people to stimulate the consumption of citizens and tourists. Generous policy subsidies and incentives will also be provided for eligible travel agencies such as those who have opened travel expresses, organized large-size tour groups or opened travel agency branches, or who have received a certain number of tourists annually.

The Jiaxing Red Boat Tourism Festival will show “Jiaxing’s revolutionary tourism with a series of activities, such as “Revisiting the First Party Congress Route”, the Red Tourism Creative Fair, and the Yangtze River Delta Integrated Tourism Cooperation Conference. Collaborating with Shanghai, Ji’an, Ruijin, Zunyi, Yan’an, Shijiazhuang and other cities, Jiaxing aims to create a joint route of red tourism cities with the theme of “Red Tourism in China”.
